Strippers get sneak peek of Skegness gym

Revamped gym opens this weekend.

The Dreamboys went for a last-minute workout at a revamped Skegness gym before stripping down for their performance at the Embassy Theatre on Thursday evening.

The group describe themselves as the most successful and famous male strippers in UK history and they were impressed by the refurbishment at the Skegness Pool & Fitness Suite at Grand Parade.

As previously reported, Magna Vitae Trust started work on a £155,000 revamp of its fitness suite in early April, with the refurb including modern TechnoGym equipment, a remodelled gym area and changing pods.

The venue is set to re-open to the public again at 8am on Saturday, May 12 after a month-long refurbishment.

From Monday, May 14 the suite will be open from 6am every weekday.

The works were a joint project between the venue’s operators The Magna Vitae Trust for Leisure and Culture and East Lindsey District Council.

The investment is part of a staged refurbishment programme for the Magna Vitae venues across East Lindsey with Skegness’s indoor pool is next on the agenda.
