Man charged after Scunthorpe High Street attack

He will appear at Grimsby Crown Court next month

A 25-year-old man has been charged in connection with a stabbing on High Street in Scunthorpe earlier this month.

As previously reported, a man was arrested after a suspected stabbing in Scunthorpe town centre on June 5.

Stefan Luke Rae, of Plum Tree Way in Scunthorpe, has also been charged with wounding with intent (Grievous Bodily Harm), possessing a knife/blade in a public place and possession of a Class A drug.

Rae appeared at Grimsby Magistrates’ Court and has been remanded in custody.

He will appear again at Grimsby Crown Court next month.

Humberside Police confirmed a 30-year-old man who was arrested has been released on police bail.

A 22-year-old was also arrested, but has been released without charge.
