Voice of Lincoln: Where people are watching the England game

The big day is here

After England beat Sweden to get through to the World Cup semi-final, the city of Lincoln has been gearing up for the big game against Croatia on Wednesday night.

Crowds packed into pubs, beers were thrown in celebration and people even jumped into the Brayford as Gareth Southgate’s squad played a solid game to qualify.

The England v Croatia game will be on ITV at 7pm tonight.

Now, the city of Lincoln are waiting for the competition to get underway once more — so we asked where they watching the game tonight.

Residents are going to be watching it at home, or going to the local pub to soak up the atmosphere – as well as a couple of beers – and some will be going to Lincoln Castle to watch it on a big screen.
