Dr Charlesworth, what happened to you?

He has been given trousers, a scarf and a horn

Curiously, a statue in uphill Lincoln has been given a horn and dressed up in red trousers and a scarf.

The monument stands in the gardens of The Lawn in Lincoln and represents the work of Dr Charlesworth, who pioneered a more liberal response to mental health.

Dr Charlesworth has now been given a makeover, and it has left people wondering who is responsible for it?

It is unclear when the statue was given a new look, but it may have been done during the Steampunk festival weekend.
