A Brazilian singer has released a song about Lincoln to share his love for the city.
Lucca Mazza was born in Brazil and currently lives in Poland, but he thinks that Lincoln is the best city in the world.
The songwriter has been to Lincoln twice, once in 2014 and then two years later in 2016, but he is looking forward to visiting again soon.
He sent The Lincolnite a video of him performing the song with an acoustic guitar, and he hopes that the yellowbelly community enjoys it.
Lucca Mazza said: “I hail from Rio De Janeiro and you can imagine these two cities are just about as different as can be.
“When I got to Lincoln, for my first visit to Europe, I was amazed by its atmosphere the nice local people and the views. It was all very different to me.
“I have a good mate who is from Lincoln and he showed me around and took me up Steep Hill and it was all proper exciting for me.”
In his song Lucca asks listeners: “Won’t you come and climb up Steep Hill with me? They say there ain’t no mountain high enough. Well I kindly disagree.
“There’s no other place I’d rather climb. No other view stuck in my mind. There ain’t no better hill you could ever possibly find.”

Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) has confirmed plans to jet-wash blocked gullies in Leadenham following persistent flooding, which has left residents and businesses in constant fear of property damage during heavy rainfall.
The council intends to jet the A607 outside Leadenham Post Office as an urgent measure to mitigate ongoing flood risks, with a full clean scheduled for January. The announcement comes after a plea from Leadenham Parish Councillor Martyn Everett, who highlighted significant flooding along Sleaford Road.
