Mystery of abandoned car at Lincoln golf club

They’re concerned about the owner’s safety

A silver car was found abandoned at a Lincoln golf club over a week ago and the mystery continues as to whom it belongs to.

Head PGA Golf Professional at Lincoln Golf Centre Paul Logan contacted The Lincolnite about the bizarre issue they are trying to solve after a silver Skoda was found left in its car park since Sunday, November 18.

Lincoln Golf Centre on Moor Lane, Thorpe on the Hill, Lincoln posted on social media saying: “The function on [last] Saturday have said it wasn’t one of their guests.

“We called the police but they said it’s not a crime to abandon a car in a car park, as it’s taxed and insured.

“No-one has been found ill on the course.

“We had a golfer abandon his golf clubs last week, but abandoning your vehicle is different level.”

Lincoln Golf Centre is offering a reward of £15 and a free round on the course for one for anyone who can provide information leading to the owner.
