Three Humberside Police officers arrested

Two have been suspended, with another in custody

Three police officers, reportedly including two staff based in Grimsby, have been arrested in a Humberside Police investigation into alleged misconduct.

The force confirmed that two of its officers were arrested on suspicion of misconduct in a public office in October.

The officers have been released whilst enquiries continue and both officers have been suspended, police said.

A third officer has also been arrested and is currently in custody.

Humberside Police is urging people to refrain from any speculation. The force has referred the case to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
