Lincoln villages lose water supply

Here’s when the taps should come back on

Communities south east of Lincoln have lost water supply this morning due to a burst main.

Hundreds of properties in Washingborough, Heighington and Branston Booths areas will be experiencing low pressure or no water at all.

Anglian Water contractors are on site and the issue is expected to be fixed by around 11am on Wednesday, December 19.

A spokesperson for the company said: “We’re really sorry but customers in the Washingborough and surrounding area may have very low water pressure or no water at all.

“We have identified a burst water main in your area that we’re working hard to get fixed, so that we can get your supply back to normal as soon as possible.”

Thos affected can look out for updates on the Anglian Water website here.
