Whet your appetite with some festive food and purchase a variety of gifts at this year’s Lincoln Christmas Market.
The 2018 event opened on Thursday, December 6 and will run until Sunday, December 9.
The Lincolnite was among the first to explore the market.
We’ve compiled a selection of some of the top stalls to look out for, as well as a food and drink focus for those looking to sample their way around the route.

One Castle Hill Patisserie has been opening its own stall outside the top-of-the-hill business for eight years.
This year the company is running three stalls – Lorenzos, Belgian Waffles and Apreski (Winter Punch).

The business has been coming to the market for over 10 years offering a selection of amazing snacks including yummy donuts.

Owner Maurice Bellwood has been coming to the market with his Gourmet Roasted Nuts stall for 15 years.
Dutch Courage

Shorrock’s Lancashire Cheese Bombs

Andrew has been bringing his stall, Shorrock’s Lancashire Cheese Bombs, to the market for at least 10 years.
Duck Fat Roasties

Stall owner Steve Cooper has been bringing his stall Duck Fat Roasties to the market for the last eight years.
German Swing Grill

Traditional German sausage is a particular favourite at the market, with the German Swing Grill owned by William Warwick having been present for the last five years.
Oslinc

Co-owner Russel Tomlin has been with his stall at the market for around 16 years. Burgers including ostrich, wagyu beef and venison.
