Top 20 stalls at Lincoln Christmas Market

Plenty of food and gifts to choose from

Whet your appetite with some festive food and purchase a variety of gifts at this year’s Lincoln Christmas Market.

The 2018 event opened on Thursday, December 6 and will run until Sunday, December 9.

The Lincolnite was among the first to explore the market.

We’ve compiled a selection of some of the top stalls to look out for, as well as a food and drink focus for those looking to sample their way around the route.


Food & Drink


Viking Drinking Horns

Owners Brian Blecher and Sally Border from Nottingham brought their company Vikings Drinking Horns to the market for the very first time this year.

One Castle Hill Patisserie

One Castle Hill Patisserie has been opening its own stall outside the top-of-the-hill business for eight years.

This year the company is running three stalls – Lorenzos, Belgian Waffles and Apreski (Winter Punch).

The Continental Bakery

The business has been coming to the market for over 10 years offering a selection of amazing snacks including yummy donuts.

The Naked Marshmallow Co

The Naked Marshmallow Co is in its fourth year at the market.

Gourmet Roasted Nuts

Where: The Lawn

Owner Maurice Bellwood has been coming to the market with his Gourmet Roasted Nuts stall for 15 years.

Dutch Courage

Shorrock’s Lancashire Cheese Bombs

Andrew has been bringing his stall, Shorrock’s Lancashire Cheese Bombs, to the market for at least 10 years.

Duck Fat Roasties

Where: Lincoln Castle

Stall owner Steve Cooper has been bringing his stall Duck Fat Roasties to the market for the last eight years.

German Swing Grill

Traditional German sausage is a particular favourite at the market, with the German Swing Grill owned by William Warwick having been present for the last five years.

Oslinc

Co-owner Russel Tomlin has been with his stall at the market for around 16 years. Burgers including ostrich, wagyu beef and venison.


Gift Stalls

Tom Betley from Waddington has been bringing his stall Rusticraft to Lincoln Christmas Market for 30 years.

Schmidt Glass

Schmidt Glass has been coming to the market for three years offering some great glass gifts.

This stall, located in the present gift tent, does exactly what is says on the tin, with every word from the world’s favourite works. It is owned by Daniel Black and is in its second year at the market.

A long-serving Lincoln Christmas Market stall is back again as Piskey Led celebrates its 20th year at the city’s festive event.

Stuart Gardiner Design

Lincoln School of Jewellery normally hosts classes at The Lawn with Martin Drury.

His partner Amanda, (of Amanda Coleman Jewellery normally based at The Terrace) has opened a pop-up shop there just for the market for the second year.
