Paramedics rush to Lincoln High Street

Emergency services are at the scene

Emergency services are at the scene after a person collapsed on Lincoln High Street on Tuesday morning.

A reporter at the scene said an ambulance, two paramedic cars and a police car pulled up outside TSB Bank and Marks & Spencers on the High Street, where it appeared a person was being resuscitated.

A spokesperson for EMAS said: “We received a call at 11.04am on January 22 to High Street in Lincoln. The caller reported someone had collapsed.

“We have sent two paramedics in ambulance cars, a crewed ambulance and a doctor in a car to the scene.”

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police added: “We are on scene on the High Street, Lincoln, to assist ambulance crews following a medical emergency to a member of the public.”
