Police name woman who died in A15 crash

Her family are being supported by officers

A woman who died in a crash on the A15 on Monday has been named by police.

As previously reported, a 57-year-old woman died after a crash on the A15 just after the Brigg Road Bridge at around 2.45pm on Monday, February 25.

Isabella Hopkins from Scunthorpe was pronounced dead at the scene after the crash involving a Toyota Prius car and a yellow JCB Telehandler.

Humberside Police said: “Her family are being supported by officers and have requested that their privacy is requested at this difficult time.”

Humberside Police is appealing for information and anyone who witnessed the collision should contact 101 quoting log number 328 of February 25.

This is the second A15 crash victim named in as many days. Motorcyclist David Duckitt, 56, from Brigg died in a crash at around 5.25pm on Monday on the A15 between Barnetby Top and Elsham.
