Crowland crash victim named ahead of final inquest

The crash involved a lorry and a motorbike

A 48-year-old man who died after a serious crash on the A16 at Crowland has been named.

As previously reported, the road was closed for several hours after a lorry and a black motorcycle were involved in a crash at about 8am on Thursday, September 6 2018.

The male motorbike rider who died has now been named as Matthew Bilby from Crowland.

An inquest opened at Boston Coroner’s Court on September 18 2018.

Coroner Timothy Brennand will conclude proceedings at the final hearing for this inquest at 10am on Thursday, March 7 at Boston Coroners Court.
