It will open in April

A new day nursery will open at Lincoln City’s Sincil Bank stadium next month.

Stadium Stars Day Nursery will be located in the Co-op Stand. It will open five days a week from 7.30am-6pm for 51 weeks of the year. It will be available for nine babies and 24 toddlers each day.

It will open its doors to the public on April 9-10 from 3pm until 7pm for families to visit and look at the facilities on offer.

The nursery plans to open full-time for the start of the summer term on Tuesday, April 23.

Prices start at £25 for a half day. It is open for children from three months to five-years-old. It also offers places for children aged 2-4 who qualify for free-funded sessions.

Owner of Stadium Stars Day Nursery Marie Townrow currently has a nursery at Doncaster Rovers Football Club. This will be her second nursery at a football stadium.

Marie told The Lincolnite: “I am already the owner of the nursery at Doncaster Rovers and it worked well. Lincoln City approached me about a partnership which is going ahead.

“I am really excited, it is a good opportunity. The stadium is located in the heart of the community so hopefully people will find it easier to access childcare.”
