Man arrested over theft and drug offences

Police underwater teams are searching Sincil Drain after a man was arrested over theft and drug offences.

Paul Gibbins told The Lincolnite that there is an underwater team and a tactical unit on Kesteven Street in Lincoln this afternoon (Tuesday, April 2).

Lincolnshire Police confirmed a 39-year-old man was arrested in the early hours of the morning on Tuesday, April 2. He was arrested in connection with theft and drug offences on Portland Street and remains in custody.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “Our underwater search officers are searching the Sincil Drain in connection with the investigation.”
