CCTV appeal after elderly women robbed at Lincoln supermarket

Police wish to speak to four people to assist with the investigation

An elderly woman allegedly had her purse stolen from a Lincoln supermarket before her bank cards were used in different stores.

The woman had her purse stolen from the Tesco store on Wragby Road in Lincoln at 3.36pm on April 25.

The bank cards were then used at an ATM at Asda on Wolsey Way, inside the supermarket and again at the Argos in the Carlton Centre.

Attempts to use the card were later made at the Boots store at the Carlton Centre but this was declined.

Lincolnshire Police area appealing to identify three men to assist with the investigation. The force’s appeal was released on May 31, over a month after the incident took place.

The people police wish to speak to are described as follows:

  • A white man, aged 30-45, 5ft 10, medium build, thin hair with a grey goatee beard. He was wearing a blue t-shirt with a small white logo on the left upper chest, black jogging bottoms with a white Nike logo tick on the left front pocket and blue and white trainers
  • A white man, aged 50-60, 5ft 10, medium build, wearing a black baseball cap, high vis yellow vest, black long sleeve top, blue jeans and white trainers
  • A white man, aged 30-40, 5ft 11, medium build, short brown hair, wearing a cream baseball cap, black long sleeve top with a zip on the front halfway down the jumper, blue jeans and cream coloured trainers with a white sole
