How to have fun in the Lincolnshire floods

This clown decided to make the most of the weather

A viral video captured a Skegness clown diving head first into inches of flood water at a caravan site.

The hilarious challenge, complete with commentary by Alec Marshall, has already been viewed over 100,000 times on Facebook.

He dubbed it as “the final of the caravan Olympics,” where his friend Alex Henderson was competing in a “ten metre dash.”

Alex then appears kitted out in swimming trunks and cap before diving out the front door of their static caravan.

It wasn’t as graceful as you might imagine but their neighbours watched on and laughed in disbelief.

Alec Marshall, who filmed the viral video, told Lincolnshire Reporter that his friend had to sit in front of the fire for the next three hours.

He said: “The heavy rain meant that a lot of places were closed for the day, so we decided to make our own entertainment.

“I was laughing my head off. I only wish that I kept on filming when the confused neighbours started watching him out their windows.

“We said they should give it a go too but they didn’t take up our offer. We’ve been out here to promote Mr Fips’ Wonder Circus which will be in Skegness of Burgh Road from June 25 to September 8.”
