Mystery Jets and The Futureheads to headline Lincoln 2Q Festival

Indie rock band Mystery Jets will headline 2Q Festival in Lincoln later this year as the first wave of acts were announced for the music extravaganza.

The Futureheads, famous for their song “Hounds of Love”, are among the other big names on the list for the festival on Saturday, November 9.

Over 90 acts will perform across 10 venues in the city. The venues include: The Engine Shed, Home, Moka, Red Five, The Loft, Liquor, The Alleykat Club, The Angel Coffee House and Back to Mono.

As well as being enjoyed by the people of Lincoln, the festival also attracts music lovers from outside of the city with 65% of the customer base being from further afield.

Day tickets are on sale now available to buy from both Gigantic and The Engine Shed (both priced the same). Tier 1 tickets are priced at £27.50 (including booking fee) – click here to purchase tickets.

Among the first wave of acts to be announced is Jaws, who said: “We’re very excited to return to 2Q. Every time we’ve played it’s been so much fun so we’re looking forward to playing again.

“Fans can look forward to hearing some new songs. We haven’t had many opportunities to play them yet so we’re very excited about that.”

2Q will also host the best in local Lincolnshire talent including Vigilantes, Kings & Bears, The Ultraviolet and more.
