Toddler found wandering into Lincoln road at 5am

People called the police worried for their safety

A young child was found wandering into the road near Pelham Bridge this Friday morning.

Lincolnshire Police were called to Ripon Street with concerns for the safety of the child just before 5am on June 28.

An eyewitness told The Lincolnite that the child was around three-years-old.

A spokesperson for the police said: “We were called at 4.42am today relating to a concern for the safety of a child in Ripon Street, Lincoln.

“The child was taken to Lincoln Police Station and, subsequently, was taken home.”
