See county’s first sky bar and £5.5m new-look Tattershall Lakes park

A sky bar, contemporary accommodation and more

Tattershall Lakes Country Park held a relaunch event to show off its new look and facilities after a £5.5 million refurbishment.

An indoor Spalshzone, an exclusive private beach zone and the new Bar 49, which is the only outdoor sky bar and eatery in the county, were all revealed as part of the refurbishment at the park owned by British parent company Away Resort Holidays.

There is also contemporary accommodation, including Safari Tents and Camping Pods with private hot tubs.

The refurbishment has also seen the workforce rise to just over 260 team members in varying roles.

Over 150 guests and residents watched a lakeside show at the launch event on Thursday, July 4, featuring a high-octane performance from the Russian national flyboard team.

The team made their UK debut at Tattershall Park with their world-famous Flyboard and Fire Show, featuring gravity-defying stunts, fire and acrobatics.

The new additions to the park after the refurb are as follows:

  • New Merlin entertainment complex and guest services
  • Refurbished Propeller restaurant
  • Bar 49
  • Indoor swimming pool, gym and “spa”
  • Indoor splash pad
  • Two beach areas
  • External multi-sports court
  • External facilities such as Crazy golf and marquee
  • High ropes
  • New entrance feature
  • Upgraded sewerage system
  • Upgraded electrical and gas infrastructure
  • Upgraded water supply/infrastructure
  • Park Wifi
  • Owners “App”
  • Extensive landscaping
  • Relocation of the CWSC with new launch jeti and new facilities building
