Man bailed after Lincoln assault

Another man was taken to hospital

A man has been released on bail after another male was left with non-life threatening injuries during an assault in Lincoln.

As previously reported, Lincolnshire Police were called to Spa Street in Lincoln after receiving a call at 1.04pm on Monday, August 19 reporting that a man had been assaulted.

Police have now confirmed that a 21-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, has now been released on bail.

A scene guard was put in place and police said Spa Street was closed between the junctions with Monks Road and Winn Street.
