19 hours of heavy rain heading for Lincolnshire

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for heavy rain across much of Lincolnshire on Tuesday.

The warning is in place from 4am tomorrow morning until 11pm. Forecasters said people should prepare for possible flooding.

The warning covers much of the country: Met Office

“Fast flowing or deep floodwater is possible, casein a danger to life and some communities may be cut off by flooded roads”, the warning states.

“Delays or cancellations to train and bus services are possible.”

There are currently no warnings expected for the rest of the week, but there doesn’t appear to be a break in the rain clouds any time soon.
