Developers plan 23-home site in North Lincolnshire village

The developers say it will have a “positive impact” by replacing the commercial use of the land.

Developers have submitted plans to build 23 new homes in a North Lincolnshire village.

Keigar Homes has submitted proposals for a mix of four, three and two bedroom properties for the land off Victoria Road, in Barnetby le Wold.

In documents before North Lincolnshire Council, Keigar Homes said the scheme will be “sustainable”and will follow the “traditional style: of the surrounding houses.”

The developers said the site is in “an established family area” and will help meet housing needs.

They add that it will have a “positive impact” by replacing the commercial use of the land.

They said: “The proposal seeks to integrate the new development into its surroundings and provide an attractive residential development.

“The layout has been informed by key design principles with consideration of the relationship between the existing residential properties.”

Two of the homes will be used for affordable housing.
