Award-winning comedian Jimmy Carr will perform an extra date at Lincoln’s Engine Shed due to high demand.
As previously reported, the tour named Jimmy Carr: Terribly Funny was due to come to the city on October 3. That date was postponed due to unforeseen medical circumstances for the comedian, and it was re-arranged for November 3.
Due to high demand a second date was added on November 15 and both dates sold out very quickly.
The comedian is proving so popular in the city that the Engine Shed has added a third performance on Friday, April 3, 2020 (doors open at 6.15pm).
The blurb for the show Jimmy Carr: Terribly Funny says: “Jimmy’s brand new show contains jokes about all kinds of terrible things. Terrible things that might have affected you or people you know and love. But they’re just jokes – they are not the terrible things.
“Having political correctness at a comedy show is like having health and safety at a rodeo. Now you’ve been warned, buy a ticket.”
