Flood alerts as more rain forecast

A wet and damp day ahead

Seven flood alerts have been issued across Lincolnshire as the Met Office is forecasting more rain on Monday afternoon.

Areas of heavy rain will spread north across parts of England from midday, forecasters say. Maximum temperatures should reach 12C.

Rain should be clearing in most areas tonight but there will still be some showers.

There are seven flood alerts in Lincolnshire currently:

  • East and West Glens
  • Minor Watercourses in North Kesteven
  • Minor Watercourses of South Forty Foot Drain
  • Rase and Upper Ancholme
  • River Trent from Cromwell Weir to Gainsborough
  • River Wreake in Leicestershire
  • Witham in South Kesteven
