Grantham attempted murder probe concluded

A man suffered a puncture wound to his abdomen

None of the nine people arrested in connection with an attempted murder in Grantham were charged by police, and the investigation has now concluded.

As previously reported, emergency services were called to an altercation after a man was stabbed at a property in Finkin Street at around 10.35pm on Saturday, September 21.

A 38-year-old man was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham after sustaining a puncture wound to his abdomen. Police described his injuries at the time as ‘non-life-threatening’.

Police arrested six women and three men, aged between 28 and 52, on suspicion of attempted murder. A scenes of crime investigation began at the house on Sunday, September 22 before the nine arrested people were later bailed.

Lincolnshire Police confirmed on Tuesday, October 1 that the nine arrested as part of the investigation have been released with no further action. The investigation has now concluded.
