Not again! Another vehicle submerged in rail bridge floodwater

High water levels continue to cause havoc in Lincolnshire

Yet another vehicle became stuck in water under a rail bridge near Lincoln as flooding and high water levels continue to cause disruption in Lincolnshire.

A Lincolnite reader sent in a photo of a Gelder van stuck in the water under Potterhanworth Bridge on Station Road in Potterhanworth on Tuesday, October 1.

This is the second time in as many days it has happened after a car was spotted covered even deeper in water during the morning of Monday, September 30. The road was closed in both directions.

The adverse weather conditions are continuing to cause problems in Lincolnshire as a number of homes in Ruskington near Sleaford were flooded after days of heavy rain in the county.
