Crowds will meat for the city’s famous Lincolnshire Sausage Festival in and around the Lincoln Castle grounds next week.
Lincoln Castle and Castle Hill will be filled with stalls selling all types of produce, including an abundance of Lincolnshire sausages, between 10am and 5pm on Saturday, October 12.
Entry is priced at £1 for adults, and children can enter free with an accompanying adult. All funds raised will go towards the work of the Rotary Club of Lindum Colonia.
With over 40 food stall holders selling the best of the county’s produce from award wining Select Lincolnshire members, it is kind of a pig deal and definitely worth checking out.

The Children’s Marquee at the festival, sponsored by Redhill Farm Free Range Pork, will encourage families to have fun with circus skills and other activities.
The festival is organised by the Rotary Club of Lincoln Colonia, in association with the Select Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire County Council and the Lincoln Business Improvement Group.
