Behind the scenes at final Evita dress rehearsal in Lincoln

The opening night is on Friday, November 8

The excitement is building as The County Amateur Operatic Dramatic Society (CAODS Lincoln) prepare to bring Evita to life at Lincoln’s New Theatre Royal on Friday.

As previously reported, a local cast ranging from age five to 80, including two teachers and a staff member from staff from Lincoln County Hospital, will perform the amateur production between November 8 and 16 as part of CAODS Lincoln’s 70th anniversary celebrations.

Evita charts the rise of Eva Peron from poor girl of the pampas to First Lady of Argentina, with a well-known soundtrack including ‘Don’t Cry for me, Argentina’.

An orchestra of 19 – under the direction of David Williams – will perform on stage, along with an ensemble of over 70 people – click here for more information.
