Teen punched in face by phone thief at Lincoln McDonald’s

A man has been arrested

A 17-year-old man was allegedly punched in the face at the entrance doors of McDonald’s in the Cornhill in Lincoln.

The male offender then demanded the victim’s phone in the restaurant before forcibly removing it from him in the incident, which happened at 4pm on Monday, November 18.

The suspect is described as of mixed race, six foot five inches tall and of a skinny build. He had an afro hairstyle and was wearing a hooded top with the hood up. He was with another man at the time of the offence.

A 17-year-old man has been arrested and is currently on bail.

Police published an appeal on Tuesday, December 3 as they still need witnesses to come forward as part of the investigation.
