Police divert traffic from busy Lincoln road after crash

A three-car crash is causing problems on the roads this Friday afternoon

Police are diverting traffic away from a busy Lincoln road after a three-car crash on Friday afternoon.

The crash happened on Wragby Road close to the junction with Ruskin Avenue at around 1.20pm on January 24.

Lincolnshire Police has warned of traffic problems in the area and have arranged for the vehicles involved to be recovered.

At the time of writing, police believe that there were no serious injuries.

It follows a terrible day on the roads on Thursday after the A46 between the Carholme and Riseholme roundabouts needed to be closed.

Lincolnshire County Council has now opened one lane on either side but it will take up to three days to get the A46 full open again.
