Police find haul of suspected stolen jewellery in Grimsby

They have now put up an appeal to anyone who recognises the jewellery

Police have recovered a huge haul of jewellery from a house in Grimsby which they believe to be stolen.

Humberside Police found the antique valuables on Saturday, January 18 at a house on Eleanor Street in Grimsby.

They have now put up an appeal to anyone who recognises the jewellery and have asked them to get in touch.

It’s unclear just how much the haul of valuables recovered is worth overall.

Anyone who believes the jewellery could be theirs has been urged to call 101 and quote crime reference 16/16042/20.
