Bomb disposal unit cordons off Lincoln building

A tactical support team is also at the scene

Latest update: Police have arrested a 48-year-old man after bomb disposal and tactical support teams raided a flat in central Lincoln.

Investigators said suspicious items have been recovered which they believe to be home-made explosive devices.


A Police Bomb Disposal Unit and tactical support teams have cordoned off an area of Clasketgate.

A masked officer from the bomb disposal unit was seen running into a building on the afternoon of Thursday, February 13.

The building was taped off by police and a police tactical support team van was also in attendance.
