Boston United’s season over after National League’s indefinite suspension

Boston United are situated in the play-offs

By Local Democracy Reporter

The Vanarama National League has today decided to suspend its leagues indefinitely amid the coronavirus outbreak.

This spells the end for Boston United’s campaign as it stands, with them sitting fourth in the National League North, inside the play off places.

The board had previously postponed all fixtures until at least April 3 but will now cancel them until further notice.

A decision on how to conclude the 2019/20 season is yet to be made, with the league’s board obtaining specialist legal advice on how best to make their final choice.
