Man dies after serious Mablethorpe crash

The road was closed for several hours

A 70-year-old local man has died in a crash in Mablethorpe which has caused the road to be closed for several hours.

Seacroft Road was closed at 10.30am on Wednesday, March 18 after a collision between a red Ford C-Max and a red Citroen C1.

The driver of the Ford C-Max died at the scene and his family have been informed.

Nobody else was injured and no-one has been arrested, police said.

Police said the road is expected to remain closed until around 3pm.

An investigation has since been launched by Lincolnshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
