Police arrested a woman on suspicion of drugs offences after a car flipped over at a busy North Hykeham junction.

A group of people in the area tried to help the driver before fire crews managed to make the vehicle safe and free them.

The car flipped on Newark Road by the Station Road and Moor Lane crossroads at about 4.30pm on Sunday, March 1.

Lincolnshire Police arrested a 23-year-old woman, who tested positive for a roadside drug test and remains in custody.
