Coast guard helicopter attends injured person at Lincoln quarry

Conflicting eyewitness reports

The coast guard helicopter landed at the quarry site in Lincoln off Outer Circle Road.

Police are on scene and telling people to leave the area.

First responders are attending to a person who has been injured.

The coast guard helicopter landed to assist.

There are however conflicting eyewitness reports over what happened until police tell us more.

One person told The Lincolnite “someone has come off their bike and penetrated their neck.”

However, another person said it involved a “person falling from the cliff edge.”

A car crew from the air ambulance team is also attending the incident.

Shortly after 8pm the coast guard helicopter departed the scene with an injured person on board.
