Lincoln City have made their seventh signing of the summer, bringing in defender Adam Jackson from Hibernian.

The 26-year-old has signed for the Imps on a permanent deal from Scottish Premiership side Hibernian.

Adam is a former England youth international and has experience in the Sky Bet Championship as well as in Scotland.

The defender said: “I’m buzzing to be here, it’s been on the cards for the last couple of weeks and I’m happy for it to finally get over the line.

“I’d like to think I am honest, reliable and hard-working and I’ll give 100% every time I wear the shirt.

“I can also get the ball down and play in the style that we are looking to implement this season.”

Lincoln City boss Michael Appleton said: “Adam brings great experience to this group and I’m delighted to sign him.

“He is comfortable on the left and right at centre half and is a real asset in both boxes. I’m really looking forward to working with him.”
