You and your pup can visit together

You and your furry friend can take a walk through history this weekend, as Lincoln Castle organise a dog-friendly weekend.

This weekend, dogs will be allowed to visit the Medieval Wall Walk, Victorian Prison and the Magna Carta with their human owners.

Pets must be kept on leads at all times and are not allowed to go into the Vault.

They are, however, allowed to enter the cinema space as well as the David PJ Ross Magna Carta building.

Tickets will need to be pre-booked online, with a 10% discount on the castle day ticket that includes all three attractions, but entry to the castle grounds will be free of charge.

Prices will be £14 for adults, £11.50 for concession, £7.50 for children between 5-16 years old, or £35 for a family ticket. Dogs can go for free.

Lincoln Castle said: “We appreciate that your four legged friends enjoy exploring just as much as we do.

“From the banks of the Norman Motte to the Prison Cells, your dog can follow you on a journey back through history exploring the Medieval Wall Walk, Victorian Prison and the Magna Carta.”
