A new gin and cocktail themed bar with a modern twist will open in Metheringham next week with new owners at the helm.
Brothers Steve and Stuart Parker are involved in the running of The White Hart pub on Metheringham High Street, which their parents have owned and formerly ran themselves for 13 years.
The family ran it until 2017 before deciding to lease it out to tenants, with the former landlords moving out this summer.
The family invested £30,000 on a refurbishment in repairs that were sympathetic to the heritage of the building, including a full restoration of all walls and the ceiling, extensive alterations to the bar and redoing the toilets.
The new landlords have now been confirmed as Callum Toynton and Jess Reynolds, aged 25 and 21, who are getting ready to welcome their first customers at the new-look bar, which will officially open on Saturday, September 26.

The engaged couple, who first met in the Red Lion pub in Dunston five years ago, want to put their own stamp on the venue with over 40 varieties of gin, including Blue Magic that changes colour once the tonic is added, and tapas style food to bring something different to the village.
As well as the tapas style food, there will also be pub classics with a twist and a wide variety of other drinks. The food offering will start from Saturday, October 3.

Jess has worked in pubs since she was 16 and been a manager at one near Lincoln, while Callum was in the army for four years before working as a chef in various local pubs and restaurants.
The couple can’t wait to open and told The Lincolnite: “We are nervous, but ecstatic and ready. It’s been a long process and we are now looking forward to welcoming regular and new customers to the White Hart.”
