Two men flee after woman injured in Lincoln crash

Police searching for two drivers

A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash involving three cars on Tritton Road in Lincoln.

The crash happened on the section between Dixon Street and Skellingthorpe Road and was reported to police at 10.26am on Thursday.

It caused long delays on the road throughout the morning, but damage has now been cleared and traffic is moving freely again.

Two of the drivers fled the scene before emergency services arrived, and police are still looking for them.

The third driver was taken to hospital with injuries, but it’s not thought to be serious.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “Two cars collided with significant damage caused and a further car had minor damage.

“A woman was taken to hospital for treatment, which is not believed to be a serious injury.

“Two men, believed to be the driver and passenger of the other car fled the scene and a search from them is ongoing.”
