Man pulled from his car and assaulted in Lincoln

A local man has been arrested

A man was pulled from his car and assaulted by a group of men in Lincoln over the weekend.

It happened at the junction of Beech Street and Newark Road, whilst the man was waiting to turn into Newark Road at around 3.30pm on Saturday, October 3.

He was approached by a group of men who pulled him out of his car and assaulted him, but he was not seriously injured, police said.

A 29-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm in connection with the incident.
