How Lincs Man With A Van built removal empire out of COVID adversity

The business blossomed during the COVID-19 pandemic

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, one Lincoln man was left out of a job, but in just two years he has grown a new removal empire with 15 vehicles and a high-quality service on offer.

James Pickering set up Lincs Man With A Van in 2020 around the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, after years working in scrap metal removal for councils and local businesses.

Scrapyards closed during the early stages of the pandemic and James was left without a job, so he launched a service to help people move from or empty their house.

As demand soared the business levelled up alongside, moving towards now having 15 active vehicles available for service and even blossoming a cleaning company to fall under the Lincs Man With A Van blanket.

There are now around 20 staff members on the van side of the house removals, priding themselves on achieving the highest standard of work.

James said customers can expect a “friendly, welcoming” approach from Lincs Man With A Van, with staff members going “above and beyond” to ensure the needs of clients are met.
