Wilko’s collapse into administration has left shoppers in Lincoln feeling “desperately upset”, as the threat of store closures and job losses looms over the homeware and household goods retailer.

The retailer fell into administration on Thursday, putting 12,000 jobs at risk and leaving the future of over 400 stores in a state of uncertainty.
