The event will raise money for charity

The eighth edition of Scoot to the Waterfront will take place on Brayford Wharf North from 10am until 5pm on July 13.

There will be a “Park & Pose” in which the best scooters win trophies. There will also be trade stalls, as well as live music from Three From Five and others.

The event will be raising money for the charity LIVES, in partnership with Holiday Inn Lincoln, The Brayford View Bar, MOD Radio, A-Plant and Lincoln BIG. All of the event profits will go to LIVES.

Organiser and scooter enthusiast Dave Walker said: “We are once again excited to be organising Scoot to the Waterfront this year, the eighth time we’ve held the event.

“In previous years we’ve had almost 500 scooters turn up to show the general public what scootering is all about.

“We’re proud to be raising money again for LIVES and having a good time doing it! We have live music, trade stalls and hopefully Scooters Galore! We just pray for nice weather!”
