Lincoln High Street is getting a new outdoor clothing store this month.
Hawkshead, family outdoor outfitters, will occupy the abandoned amusement arcade on the High Street, just north of the Stonebow.
The chain, which already has 10 other outlets across the UK, specialises in travel wear and gear for campers and ramblers.
Spread across 3,300 square feet on 2 floors, the store is recruiting for a mix of six full time and part time positions.
Currently still undergoing construction and renovation, the Hawkshead site will be completed by the end of June and is set for an official opening for the August bank holiday.

People across Lincolnshire are being encouraged to dust off their bikes and get cycling this summer as a new British Cycling programme has been launched in Lincoln.
Sky Ride Local, in partnership with Lincolnshire Sports Partnership and Lincolnshire County Council, will offer free guided bike rides along planned routes designed to highlight the Lincolnshire scenery.
The bike rides are for the whole family and look to cater for varying abilities, from first time riders to seasoned pros, the programme reaches out to everyone.
Sarah Clarke, Physical Activity Manager at Lincolnshire Sports Partnership believes the programme is a “fantastic chance” to get people cycling again or for the first time.
She said: “The programme is a fantastic chance for people to get back on their bikes, meet some new people and do more exercise.”
“Lincolnshire is a great place to cycle, and this is a perfect opportunity to see more of your local area,” she added.
Councillor Richard Davies, Executive Councillor for Highways and Transportation at Lincolnshire County Council is “delighted” with the launching of Sky Ride Local.
“We’re delighted to launch a British Cycling partnership in Lincolnshire to encourage more people to get on their bikes and enjoy cycling in their own time.” he said.
There will be 25 rides running throughout the summer from June 8 to September 23, with 25 free places on each ride. Each ride will vary, with the distances ranging from three to 30 miles.
