Police are investigating the theft of a bank card and mobile phone from a nightclub in Lincoln.

The victim reported that her phone and card were removed from her handbag at Circle Nightclub on Silver Street between midnight and 3am on Sunday, March 4.

The bank card was later used to pay for a taxi.

Police have issued a CCTV image of a woman who they believe can help with investigations.

She is described as having shoulder length hair and was wearing a dark top and knee length red skirt and dark leggings.

Anyone with any information is being requested to come forward and contact the police on 101 quoting reference number 18000 100 298 or through the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Police discovered a high value cannabis farm and seized more than 100 plants after an early morning raid off Monks Road in Lincoln.

Police raided a property on Spa Street around 1am on Tuesday, March 20.

A force spokesperson told The Lincolnite around 124 plants were found in the property.

No arrests have been made at the time of publishing.

On resident said they had seen officers “carrying bags of weed” out of the property.
