The Scene has paid tribute to a much-loved drag queen and member of the LGBTQ+ community after his sad death.

Justin Hussey, also known as Kandi Kane, fought a long battle with diabetes, but sadly he died during the morning of Friday, January 19, 2024.

The town of Skegness is in shock after the sad news of Kenneth Battersby, 60, and his little boy, two-year-old Bronson, being found dead at home. This sad event has left the community heartbroken and full of questions.

Bronson, who was being looked after by social services, was found with his dad, who might have died from a heart problem about ten days before they were found. This has made people worry about how well we look after those who need help and how important it is for neighbours to look out for each other.
