The mum of a two-year-old boy found curled up dead at the legs of his deceased father in Skegness has hit out at social services for ‘not doing their job properly’.

Lincolnshire Police were made aware of the deaths of 60-year-old Kenneth Battersby and two-year-old Bronson (both pictured at the top) at a property in Skegness at around 3.25pm on January 9, 2024. Investigations were carried out and the deaths are not being treated as suspicious, police said.

Lincolnshire Police said the death is not being treated as suspicious after a man’s body was found in undergrowth on Nettleham Road at the weekend.

Police were called at 11.49am on Saturday and cordoned off woodland behind Lincoln Waitrose supermarket. Forensics were also spotted at the scene.
