A man has been arrested following a stabbing incident near Boston.

Lincolnshire Police were called just after 9pm on Sunday, February 4, at a property on Cleymond Chase, Kirton, Boston.

A woman received stab wounds to her legs during the incident.

One man is currently in custody, and investigations are ongoing.

Anyone with any information is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 420 of February 4.

A Lincoln man who caused police to shut off an area near Lincoln High Street when he pulled out a large knife has been charged.

As previously reported, officers were alerted at around 11.55am on Friday, February 2 to reports that a man was seen with a knife on Mint Street.

Policing officers located and arrested Stuart Wilson, 47, of Frank Wright Court in Lincoln.

Shocked onlookers said officers drew a taser on the suspect and the nearby Age UK building was on lockdown.

Wilson has now been charged with possession of a knife in a public place.

He has been bailed to appear at Lincoln District Magistrates Court on February 22.
