Police are treating a caravan fire in Lincoln in the early hours of this morning as arson.

As previously reported, crews attended the fire on the junction of Avondale Street and Winn Street at around 2am on Thursday, February 1.

Lincolnshire Police are now working with Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue to determine the cause of the fire and are currently treating the incident as arson.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “We were alerted to a report of a caravan fire on Cannon Street just after 2am.

“Emergency Services attended and found the vehicle on fire, nobody has been injured.

“We are working with the Fire Service and are treating the incident as arson, an investigation is underway.”

TV comedian David O’Doherty will perform in Lincoln later this year as part of his ‘You Have To Laugh’ tour.

David will greet comedy fans at the Engine Shed in Lincoln on Sunday, November 25 at 8pm.

Tickets go live on Friday, February 2 from 10am on the Engine Shed website and will cost £16.50.

The Irish comedian is best known for is appearances on Live at the Apollo and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.

Promoters of the tour said: “Unhook your mindbras.

“David O’Doherty is back on tour with a brand-new show made up of talking and songs played on a keyboard from 1986.”
